Fort Benning NCO Club welcomes the very best BET ComcView, Apollo Comedy Hour and Comedy Central comedians every First Friday of The Month.

"Funny First Friday is hosted by the incomparable funny man - Mr. Daran Howard. 

Daran Howard is truly a one-man comedy show! Raised in Memphis, TN, Daran is a southern gentlemen at heart. He got his start into comedy, while studying theater in North Carolina.

As he tended bar at a local comedy club, (to help pay the tab to get through school), he watched comedians and thought, ''I can do that'', which is exactly what he did. Daran hosted various comedy shows, eventually moving to Chicago and later to his current residence, Los Angeles.

Whenever he wasn't performing, he was studying the art of comedy, highly influenced by such comedians as Richard Pryor, Jerry Seinfield & D.L. Hughley.
